Family Planning and Sexual Health
Contraception is prescribed and contraceptive implants are inserted by appointment along with counselling and advice at Primrose Surgery. There are also external local clinics. Contraceptive coils can be removed or checked at Primrose Surgery. Coil insertion can be done elsewhere locally. Minor Ailments Scheme
– The pharmacies below offer treatment without a prescription for a variety of problems including: Emergency Contraception and Head Lice for example. If you get free prescriptions then this service is free. If not then you may need to pay the standard prescription charge.

Urgent Care Centre at Trafford General Hospital
The urgent care centre is open from 08:00 till 12pm and provides treatment for adults and children who have a need for care that is not life-threatening but where prompt help, care or advice is needed.
